Partant de l\u2019excellente synth\u00e8se que font Yvan Leclerc et Nicole Terrien de la notion de bovarysme dans l\u2019Histoire, nous envisageons de l\u2019\u00e9tendre au \u00ab h\u00e9ros \u00bb de L\u2019\u00c9ducation sentimentale, Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Moreau, que nous consid\u00e9rons comme la r\u00e9plique masculine du personnage d\u2019Emma. Emma et Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric se ressemblent au-del\u00e0 de leur diff\u00e9rence de sexe, d\u2019autant plus que l\u2019analyse litt\u00e9raire, partant de l\u2019hypoth\u00e9tique affirmation de Flaubert \u00ab Madame Bovary, c\u2019est moi \u00bb, identifie dans le texte des marques de la virilisation du personnage f\u00e9minin et, inversement, une f\u00e9minisation des personnages masculins (L\u00e9on, Charles). D\u2019abord, nous allons faire le point de la notion de bovarysme, les sens qu\u2019elle recouvre et ses emplois dans la litt\u00e9rature. Ensuite, nous allons proposer l\u2019analyse du discours flaubertien sur un corpus constitu\u00e9 de deux extraits tir\u00e9s l\u2019un du roman Mme Bovary, l\u2019autre de L\u2019\u00c9ducation sentimentale, en ciblant sur les manifestations concr\u00e8tes de cette disposition de l\u2019esprit des deux personnages.
